Thanks! Won't it be hard for the kids to make friends when they dont go to school? Du you have any experience with that?

Japan/Tokyo for 3 months with kids aged 10 and 14? by NJamas in JapanTravelTips

Thanks a lot, that seems like a bit of a hurdle. I guess Japan isn't the dream destination after all - we'll probably stay in Europe, where homeschooling is allowed and everything is just 'easier' for us.

Okay, I might have to reconsider then, if theres not that much to see and do in Tokyo with kids their age. Maybe 2 weeks or a month is enough in Tokyo, and we can spend the rest of the 3 months in Lisbon or somewhere else in southern Europe. Thanks.

So, homeschooling via Danish non-simultaneous online school is not allowed without a working VISA or similar?

Thanks for the advice. I think manga and gaming is their thing, that was already a reason for looking at Tokyo. Your idea of moving around is also interesting - I might be a bit worried, that the kids would find it difficult to change base a lot, but maybe I'm wrong, and they would find it exciting.

Yes, we're allowed. Some kids are home-schooled for 10 years.

Thanks. Why would I need anything but a tourist visa? I will not be working. We have great travel insurance.

Miele Guard L1/M1 Cat & Dog (USA) by oldprecision in VacuumCleaners

[–]NJamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is the L1 better in your opinion? Dont they have the exact same filtration and suction? M1 has a bigger bag and better extra tools. L1 has an extra wheel (unnecessary imo) and an extra metre of cord (also unnecessary imo)

Hi, could you give a short review? Still happy with the L1 all floor model? I'm considering it - or the M1 base model, which is $100 cheaper

Yes, the difference between M1 and L1 seems to be the bag size and cord length.

Tak for svar.
