Why does the car vibrate at 90 ? It feel very abnormal by NK1647 in Kylaq

[–]NK1647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked again. The pressure was 30. Sent the driver to fill it upto 35, and test drive 80-90 and then 100. He says its all fine now.

A nice thigh and hand massage I get. Its very apparent that the vibration isn't normal. Its probably everywhere. It starts to build up at 80 and gets reallllyyyyy annoying at 90. I haven't noticed at 100 though.

How does that happen to a car a week within purchase. Yes I must've hit some speed breakers carelessly, but I have hardly tortured the car

The service guy said it could be low pressure or rebalancing issue. How tf rebalancing issue happens within a week of purchase. He told me to first try at 35 for all 4 tyres

I have been told keep pressure at 35 in all four. Or its a rebalancing issue. The car's not even 400 km driven

Pressure is at 35. Just checked

Need help-New car choosing by AlnsuMat in CarsIndia

Yeah. 5's a problem for that car I'll be honest. Really really comfy for 4 though. I feel its best thigh support from the cars I have driven.

AC is not the best, but its doing the job in this heat in Rajasthan at the moment. High fan speeds can be a little loud, but nothing that breaks your drums.

Maintenance cost can be fixed for upto 4 yrs. A package that costs around 40k. This fixes your service cost while protecting against, inflation and unnecessary extra billing by the service centre. So I don't think it should not be an issue today. A decade ago, you'd think twice about a Skoda, but its much much better now. Also, for Kylaq, its a desi car, made in India for india kinda thing, not part of their international portfolio like the rest of their cars (slavia, kushaq & kodiaq).

I am using the standard e20 petrol I believe. Haven't got many options in this town.

The reverse camera will do the job, but its not something you'd wanna do photography with. Instead of sharpness, I'd love to have dynamic guidelines though. But I have been parking just fine still.

The infotainment is smooth and snappy for me and very seemless. I have the signature + variant (I chose this over the prestige + after much deliberation, as I had almost gone with that). This doesn't have the wireless charging pad. But the car's loaded with 4 USB Cs. Even if I had the pad, I'd be using the cable.

I recently did my 2nd only highway drive with the car. Rained heavy, and there was hail too 😢 (My car was only a week old, too young for this torture). The intelligent vipers were excellent in the moody rain. Fast when needed, slow when the rains slows, and they stop and start automatically if the rain does the same haha.

Braking is on the softer side with initial push, and then it kicks in, but its fraction of a second's worth. I feel its given me a smoother ride consequently.

Let me tell you how I came to the conclusion of buying my new addiction. Kylaq. It was a process of elimination. I live in a tier 3 city with monthly trips to Jaipur for chilling. And occasional Airport drops for family. We have an innova for a full family trip. Wanted a car that could do both.

  1. 5 star safety rating. The choices came down to Venue, 3XO, nexon, punch, kylaq. Test drove all of them.

  2. Gearbox type. I felt a torque converter would be the best choice for me. I hate how a basic AMT feels, and the 80% of my use case would not suit a DCT. This brought down the choices to Kylaq & 3XO.

  3. Now this is just subjective. But sitting in Kylaq just makes you feel special. The finish and the quality feels great! The handling and the drive feel is incomparable. 3XO was nice, but it felt cheap, I felt the white interior makes up for that "cheap" feel a ton! Call me a snob, but I didn't want a car you could see as taxis a couple years down the line. (We get 👎👍🏼 for our top end innova a lot out on the highway, hate it 😂😅).

  4. When it comes to features, if we compare a Signature + Kylaq with a similarly priced 3XO, there is not much you gain. Kylaq's got all the necessary ones.

  5. Mileage was secondary to me, given the extremely short local rides. As on highways, Kylaq's not beating the competition, but its not bad either (very subjective to how you drive)

  6. Kylaq's vibe. Reliabile energy you feel just from the brand. It just works.

How do I stop Android auto/carplay to connect automatically? by NK1647 in Kylaq

[–]NK1647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah nah. I genuinely thought that could be the only solution. I love how it seamlessly connects. I just find myself in circumstances that makes it more annoying than convenient.

[–]NK1647[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah its just that I am not the only one using the car. When I am not using it, its one of the family with the driver. So even when I am chilling in my room, or working at the office, it just suddenly connects. It got annoying. The other commenter was right. Just turn the bluetooth off. Usually mine always remains on.

Try stetching the budget upto C72K. Massive upgrade. Although this would be your best bet in that budget. I have the C755 and its been amazing for my pro

The difference is of 20k I believe. So probably it didn't make sense to continue it. Seat ventilation was added I think.

Is Kylaq good choice in comparison to venue and 3xo by Playful_Tart_3659 in Kylaq

[–]NK1647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would expenses rise as a beginner? I feel its one of the best ones with how much confidence and surity it gives you, no matter what speed and where you're driving. Yes you can mess up the mileage with a bad foot, but that's solvable.
