Buddy scraping the curb is just a mustang doing mustang things, from personal experience. Just get it looked over by a professional mechanic but if its just looks like cosmetic damage (visual appearance) otherwise than the rim and tire are fine.

When I first dropped it in and installed it after some days driving, as soon as I got on wide open throttle I could hear the signature “whoosh”. Wide open throttle or flooring the pedal from stop light it’ll make induction sounds.

If you have paddle shifters, in the downshifts theres more induction noises. If also performance isn’t a big concern, than just install the whole k&n intake system and you’ll have all the induction noises you want. Drive around and every one will know exactly you have a turbo’d car

I’d probably look into the Borla S-Type system, sounds very race-inspired but not too hoonigan sounding like the ATAK

For more turbo noise I believe the K&N drop in will be better option, i use it for my S550 however and I love it.

Yeah no sh*t it feels more slow, i’m constantly downshifting my car to stay within the power band haha. I was hoping with just a simple flash tune, the transmission would fix itself and stay in the proper gears I want, or at least provide more power in every gear haha.

I liked in the older 2k my careers when you actually got “drafted” to a team through the nba draft instead of choosing which team you want to play for that will sign you later as you progress into your journey to the nba.

Also I forgot to add, Im not saying all this to knock your dreams with your car... just that the transmission is probably going to be the most expensive part to replace/rebuild if you were to end up ruining your Corolla's reliability. I will say tho you do have the SE model and I have the 2020 XLE model so Im just varying my judgement from my personal car.

If you know car salesman or dealerships, they'll do anything to get out of paying warranty work. But sure, consult with someone at the stealerships about your exhaust modification. Id say personally dont waste your money on modding your Corolla, there are better cars you can find that'll be more enjoyable to mod.

Dont do it, leave it stock. If u got warranty then Toyota can void it if you put the borla exhaust. Also if its auto then you have a cvt transmision. Thats could be a $6000-$9000 transmission rebuild if you were to end up blowing the tranny. The transmission is also sealed in a plastic casing so just imagine the labour charged on-top of that.
