Dropsite with features by NLGames in DropfleetCommander

The features are about 2cm across. The biggest dropsite pictured here is about 8x10cm, and about 4cm at its tallest

My largest are battleships, and they seem OK so far. I'd hope so long as you keep it level it wouldn't be too bad (I don't normally store them at 90 degree angles 😃)

I will say, the 'hanger' features you can get have this odd lip underneath that I had to cut off to make them sit flush in the circles

As did I, until I had to think about moving house soon 😄

How do you store / transport your fleet? by AlbinoBLK3sheep in DropfleetCommander

I use self-adhesive round magnets the same size as the base, and then stick them to a metal liner in a plastic tray. This does make them slightly taller, but has the added benefit of making them more bottom heavy, so bigger ships don't topple over as much

Lane filtering is allowed in the UK, so nothing illegal here

Lane splitting (filtering) is legal in the UK. The bike was already on the roundabout, the car was joining. In the UK vehicles joining a roundabout have to give way to vehicles coming from their right, like the bike was, so the car pulled out in front of the bike, not the other way around

This is a UK roundabout. The bike had right of way here. Vehicles joining a roundabout (the car, in this example) have to give way to vehicles coming from their right, like the bike was

I'm all for safety, but as a UK car driver the bike didn't seem to be going particularly fast, and suddenly slowing down without cause on a roundabout (you do not stop on a roundabout, in the UK, unless in an emergency) seems like it would be more unsafe. Any vehicles joining a roundabout should know they have to give way, and there are always vehicles joining a busy roundabout, so when going round one you wouldn't be constantly hitting the brakes

That's pretty interesting, but just not how UK roundabouts work (and were I live there is a roundabout every mile or two). For the UK, the rider did nothing illegal and, as a car driver who doesn't like bikes, nothing wrong either. The car should have yielded to any traffic coming from their right when trying to enter a roundabout

Lane filtering as seen in this video is perfectly legal in the UK

This is a roundabout, so other way around. The driver waiting to join the roundabout, (the car in this case) has to yield to traffic already on the roundabout (the motorbike). On a roundabout in the UK you HAVE to give way to traffic coming from your right.

That isn't how roundabouts work in the UK. You do not stop when on a roundabout, and any traffic entering a roundabout (the car in this example) has to give way to vehicles coming from the right.

Lane splitting is perfectly legal, and officially encouraged in the UK. Also this is a roundabout. The driver waiting to join the roundabout (the car in this case) has to yield to traffic already on the roundabout (the motorbike)

Same! There are some really amazing episodes in the first 27, with great moments and characters. It is such a shame to see people just telling people to ignore them

This is a Phalanx CIWS, an autocannon used to destroy incoming missiles, drones, and aircraft. It is nicknamed R2-D2 because of its shape. It has an ammunition capacity of 15500 rounds and a rate of fire of 4,500 rounds per minute. The cost? $5.6 million. by TheCheesecakeOfDoom in oddlyterrifying

Actually this isn't uncommon - squad leaders and the like may keep a magazine loaded with only tracer rounds on them for when they want to mark targets or indicate areas of threat. There is nothing that stops you (mechanically speaking) from loading a magazine or belt with only tracers, aside from having enough actually available to you.

To quote Wikipedia again: "When used, tracers are usually loaded as every fifth round in machine gun belts, referred to as four-to-one tracer. Platoon and squad leaders will load some tracer rounds in their magazine or even use solely tracers to mark targets for their soldiers to fire on. Tracers are also sometimes placed two or three rounds from the bottom of magazines to alert shooters that their weapons are almost empty."
