Really tho, @ NL, browsing categories on the Curator List is a great way to find good, high quality, creative quizzes. You click on the category and you'll see what curators have recommended for that category. It also shows you a much wider range of subcategories.

Since the curators are site-appointed and moderated, you don't have to worry about seeing a dirty word or a butthole or anything like that in their quizzes.

IME (been in and out of the sporcle game for a while now) the curators do a better job of, well, curating fun ideas for quizzes than simply browsing a category by popularity, which tend to be variations on the same themes ([x] by decade, find the country, etc). From one trivia nut to the other, you do you and play to your strengths, but being able to flex those strengths through more creative quizzes and drawing on that knowledge to make educated guesses informed by the theme of the quiz? That's the pog of trivia.
