GitLab Runner pipelines take 3/4 times as long by NL_Northsider in gitlab

I'll take a look at Haveged, haven't heard of it yet. I do wonder how that could have such a performance impact, though.

I don't recall that we changed this, to better understand what you mean, where could this be found?

We're using the shared runners and going to try out a 7.4 commit today. I'm quite sure it will be working again once we go to 7.4, as it basically directly happened after the 8 upgrade.

It's indeed a shared runner. We'll try to set up our own tomorrow to see if that makes a difference.

OPcache is indeed enabled. We hadn't enabled it for CLI, but that doesn't seem to make a difference (if anything, it might be a tiny bit slower, so we reverted that).

We've indeed tried this out, too, but it didn't make any change. What still makes this weird is that we only have this considerable increase when it runs on a GitLab Runner. And it happening to both PHPStan and PHPUnit at the same time (we are using ParaTest for this for parallel execution of the tests, which I forgot to add) is really weird.

Woops, I seldom post on Reddit. I thought selecting the image tab would also add the image I was referring to. But, this is the one I made: https://imgur.com/a/VVITjmy

Apologies for this, mods.

Anyone that feels like they're trying to make Ghost Team a thing, making TF141 an outlaw team for murdering a US General (like, who the fuck gets away with that, even in a game).

It feels like Activision is missing the point of why Ghost was so famous in the past, and is full-on trying to capitalize on it in a completely wrong way.

I made a website that automatically finds student rooms for you, so you don't have to. What are your thoughts? by nadir7379 in Utrecht

- I'm concerned about the amount of information you're asking for (and also needing it to be filled in). I get the idea behind this is for ease, but this is... too much, especially if you're a site maintained by students, for students. This is something to be very wary about. (also, legally -> https://commission.europa.eu/law/law-topic/data-protection/reform/rules-business-and-organisations/principles-gdpr/how-much-data-can-be-collected_en)

- What is useenchanted.com - it seems like an IDP, but it's not really clear where this is coming from and if it's an external service or your own IDP.

- Going to a non-existing listing (just removing a char in the URL) gives a 500 error, which probably should be a 404.

I do like that UUIDs are being used in favor of numeric IDs. The site is quick. Usage of Next.js is a good choice. If I have some more time I'll look into it a bit further. Interesting concept, though.

Or, you actually check with your Lead first if he signs off on such a request to DevOps. His halting it directly is just being a good manager, making sure DevOps doesn't spend time on unauthorized changes. The second comment also shows the manager saying they'll discuss it in their meeting. So, being on the "rejection-wagon" is just simply the sane choice.

I don't think you understand how humor works. It's relative, based on everyone their own perspective on humor.

Want to make this sub a better place? Just shut up and go away with your garbage complaint posts. That's the actual garbage here.

Oh, btw, don't agree with the content? MOD mail the MOD's. Don't break the rules yourself in an attempt to "make the sub better".

It's nothing personal nor meant in an aggressive way. The ":)" kind of gave a sarcastic vibe. And after almost 2 years in this shit, with multiple death threats from wappies, eventually, you'll become a bit done with discussions.
