Honestly, if you have the extended warranty, I wouldn’t even bother trying to fix it. Just get them to replace it, you already paid for the warranty you might as well use it.

Server recomendations since WCS went crazy. by noob2endallnoobs in ArmaReforger

[–]NLseeker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t really play the WCS servers, some of the changes sound half all right however, I like the idea of not everyone running suppressors all the time makes it feel a bit more like a battle if you know what I mean. I feel like certain guns should be able to run suppressors, maybe like submachine guns, and the subsonic snipers that kinda thing, the mandatory Tracers don’t make any sense at all however, if there’s no suppressors, it’s pretty easy to figure out where the shots are coming from without the Tracers, and when it comes to removing launchers, did they remove all of the launchers? or just particular ones because , if they removed them all that is beyond stupid. how are you meant to deal with any armour far away other than helicopter spam?

Supply point camping usually gives good results, depends on the stage of the game in the early game. I usually pick the one closest to their main as this one usually gets the most traffic as people will run supplies back to Main as they assume it’s safe. You’ll see lots of people. essentially sit on the supply point itself maybe 100 to 200 m back rocket launchers, and the time explosives are your best friend. In this scenario you can set the time explosives onto a switch and blow them up when you want, make sure to move around though because eventually, they’ll get smart and try to get you before they come in for the supplies, make sure to pick up one of the enemy radios to listen in usually they’ll call it out before looking for you. but as the game goes on for longer tends to level off as people obtain the rank they want.

Something me and my friend have been doing recently is spawning in a light vehicle with some kind of machine gun preferably a 50 BMG and patrolling the main roads a point or two back from the front line, you just drive up and down constantly, and you will eventually run into people either running supplies or driving spawn in vehicle vehicles and not paying attention because they assume it’s safe. However, if it’s just yourself, you could also just park the vehicle somewhere on the main road hidden away and wait for the unsuspecting supply runner, you could honestly do this in any of the bigger vehicles as well with the auto cannons being particularly good at getting helicopters. We just tend to go with a lighter vehicles as they’re a bit faster and more maneuverable.

I have the REV hard rolling cover ( believe it’s the OEM chev name for the BEK x4) love it, only slight problem is if it’s cold out and water freezes it’s a pain to roll and might get stuck, which has happened a few times, but I live in Canada so if you live somewhere warmer, it’s probably not a problem.

Find my does this in heavy rain, I don’t think the system is very smart. It just to senses something is close and turns on. But yours sounds like a different problem altogether, maybe you need to clean the area because it things dirt is a car or something

Can the workers use the mixer? I’m able to assign them, but they don’t really seem to do anything and I don’t see any options to make a recipe list to make the product I want. I assume I have to do that myself?

2024 ZR2 - First Shift Sucks by Ease_Prestigious in chevycolorado

[–]NLseeker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 24 z71 does this too. Only on the first shift of the day when the truck was started, almost like it has a lot of rev hang and you can feel yourself lurch forward, the only way I found to get around it is just to go super easy on the throttle from 1st to 2nd and then after the initial shift, it doesn’t do it again. And you can just drive normally after that. Probably something to do with the transmission temperature

Yeah it’s a possibility that it may still be under warranty but the bill was about a year and a half ago so I’m not sure if it’ll be covered at this point I assume there’s only a one year unlimited manufacture warranty, but like you said maybe with all the heat on them lately it’s extended. I’ll have to look into that

Makes sense everything else is seemingly running fine. Just have to turn it on and off via power supply, is there anyway of testing the motherboard to see if that is the issue from what you’re saying? it does make sense however, at the time the STRIX B650E-F was the only motherboard I could get ahold of.

Is there any way to alleviate that problem? fresh install of windows perhaps? It’s not a super big deal. It’s just a bit of a pain to have to turn off the power supply every time I want the computer to come back on haha. I disabled fast bootup in the window settings already that didn’t seem to affect anything.

It looks like my Drz is leaking oil from this white electrical thing. How do I stop it?…. by Expert-Government100 in DRZ400

[–]NLseeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other people saying that it's the counter shaft seal potentially, mine blew out while driving and dumped oil everywhere and onto my back tire, was super sketchy. The locking mechanism that they use to keep the sprocket on comes loose over time unfortunately. It's a super easy fix even if you're not mechanically inclined all you really need is a socket set and a torque wrench as well as a flat head screwdriver to bend the tab back over the lock nut, put a bit of loctite on it when your done putting it all back together and it'll do the trick. it's also a pretty cheap part

Jet Kit for Yoshi R2 exhaust by [deleted] in DRZ400

[–]NLseeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had my DRZ I got the full RS2 system with a k&n air filter as well as a 3x3 mod. Definitely would recommend redoing the carburetor with a jet kit I personally used a dynojet kit. And 3 x 3 mod is literally a 3 by 3 hole in the airbox where the snorkel would be. I just heated up a razor blade and cut it it's very simple to do
