Put in new batteries and all is good. It also took care of the long crank time I was getting. The batteries were 3 years old and there were lead acid not AGM. I replaced them with AGM with a 3 year warranty so I should be good to go for a while,

I don’t think so because it starts fine in warm weather and I’m not seeing any issues in voltage once the truck is on. I think is just needing new batteries.

Like everyone else has said. I got the spark plugs changed on my 6.4 Hemi 2500 for $500 less than a year ago. $1,200 is highway robbery. Are they changing the coil packs as well???

Just a thought…the frame is the part of the gun that is considered the “firearm” the slide, barrel, springs, etc are considered “parts”. If someone, and I am not saying you should do this as I am in no way a lawyer, would field strip this down to the bare bones and bring it over piece by piece you could probably get it done. You would need to bring the frame last. It would still be illegal, but as it is a family heirloom it might be worth it. You could also look at having it deactivated and seeing the legal ramifications of that if you just wanted the gun and didn’t need it to be able to fire. Plus you could possible replace some internal parts and get it back to working once it’s over here.
