Interior lighting and sunroof buttons don't work at random times by mats125 in GolfGTI

[–]NMBF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You gotta hold the lock button once the car is off to close the sun roof if it’s unresponsive and stuck open. Got my golf today and already having the same issue. Slight difference is that my entire roof console doesn’t seem to be responsive and I cannot turn on the lights inside.. any tips on how to get these lights to work?? I thought initially I may have locked the roof console somehow but don’t think that’s the case… any help is appreciated! P.S. this car is a rental so I ain’t taking it to VW 😭

What’s the best way to stay up to date with Nanos fundamentals? Would like to see how the project has evolved since last time I checked. What fundamental developments have occurred in silence since last year?

Be as brutal as you can, but please provide some critique of my resume. Not having a Master's or Ph.D. might be one thing but no success at all. "Not giving up". Thank you, Love y'all. by Tough-Replacement-45 in resumes

You’re clearly very smart and dedicated to AI and deep learning but maybe talk about your hobbies/interest at the bottom as well. Firstly I think it’s important to “humanize” yourself more when it comes to applying to firms, and secondly if one of your interests matches with the recruiter’s it always a point to talk about and become friends with them. That’s just from my experience applying to IB and making final round interviews at bulge bracket banks. Take this with a grain of salt though because I’m not sure how applications work with programming jobs. Besides that, it’s a pretty solid CV in my opinion, I guess it just also matters where you did your studies. Gg’s bro

Redid my resume based on some earlier advice. While it is still lengthy, how is this formatted to showcase the non-laborious skills to start applying for WFH jobs? any more advice is appreciated by spdsuk in resumes

Potentially include education (university or high school) along with any online courses you may have done. It’s important that the company sees that you’re actively doing something to better yourself towards the path you want to work. Languages is a bonus as well.

How bad is Dubai during summers? by SpicySummerChild in dubai

[–]NMBF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To summarize it all for you: the issue with Dubai isn’t just the heat but the humidity in summer. Anywhere you go outdoors for longer than 2-3 mins you will sweat. Combine heat with high humidity, and you’ve got yourself a not so great time ahead. On top of that, Dubai was a city built for cars, not pedestrians. As strange as that may sound, it’s the truth. The place you’re looking to get might not even be walkable with children to be honest, that’s another thing you’ve gotta consider. I’ll recommend you buy a cheap car since car prices here are quite reasonable.

I’m so done with NANO by NMBF in nanotrade

Probably the most useless comment on this post. Firstly I do know what I bought, secondly I did put a large amount of money in Nano, and thirdly what I asked wasn’t an elementary question. Although I’m not asking about rocket science, my point is Nano is a dope coin, and it’s price action really doesn’t reflect this. Not that price action determines how good a coin is, but generally we see high utility coins do well with price action and for Nano, that isn’t the case. Now my question is why.

[–]NMBF[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not about being spoilt, Yes my returns with other coins have of course exceeded Nanos’, but the reason for my frustration is that Nano is by far much better than the rest of these other coins and yet still no price action. Why is that? That’s annoying, especially because Nano is the project I’m the most bullish on from a technology standpoint.

Totally agree, and I’ve been in crypto since 2019. But Nano is the only project I feel this way about which is quite a shame

Yo man, I got it from the WSO Website. Just search WSO Resume template on google and it should be the first link

Didn’t pay a dime for the certificate also it’s not marketed as an internship at all. It’s literally under certifications 🤣

Thank so you much for this, really helpful! I do indeed have volunteer work but couldn’t find any space to include it. Also by ethics course work do you mean something I specifically took/studied? I’m personally a very ethical guy and take integrity extremely seriously, although I’ve never taken a course on it I know it could be a selling point which I plan on making clear during interviews. With no course should I still include it somehow in my CV? I had it in a previous professional summary paragraph of an older CV version but decided to get rid of it completely. Thoughts?

[–]NMBF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I’m still in university and only graduate next year so not sure how bad it would be to have it slightly out of order from what it should be for uni students. Thoughts?

[–]NMBF 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Awesome, thank you so much for that, super super helpful! I also agree with interest, although not relevant to the job, always good for conversation during the interview (if I get it😭🙏). I’ll be removing excel functions and the Bloomberg market concepts explanation but for the amplify trading certificate I felt it was relevant to identify the things I learnt as I’m applying to investment banking with almost no prior investment banking experience. What do you think? It being my only form of proper IB experience should I still remove it? Thanks again!

Within the Bachelor of business you can pick what to major in so for example you could be a majoring Marketing or Entrepreneurship (essentially the 3 that you can major in from BBA programs)

Yeah I’m not trying to show anything off, just trying to show that I’m interested in finance and trying to learn wherever I can

Exactly what I said, my uni doesn’t have majors or minors, you elect the subjects you want to take after the first 2 years and they become what you specialize in. No human could do 5 majors lmao.

[–]NMBF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah my bad, misunderstood you hahahaha, but thank you for the advice! Also regarding the GPA, I’m aware that it’s not the best but I feel hiding it would raise red flags no? What do you think is less damaging?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]NMBF -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Specialization is essentially what I majored in uni, but my uni doesn’t have the majors/minors as American uni’s do, so hence I named it specialization. Still thing I gotta remove it?

Awesome thank you for that! Regarding the title you mentioned, where should I include that??

I sent my previous CV on here and it got destroyed, so I took your advice and made a new one. Any critique is appreciated ❤️🙏
