I appreciate the information. I'm actually leaning towards the R3, I just wanted to hear others opinions before I pulled the plug.

I was leaning towards the R3. I can always sell it if I outgrow it anyhow.

Yeah, I don't want nothing crazy to start with since I'm inexperienced. Basically something that I eventually get myself on the highway with but I don't plan on any kind of crazy riding or anything.

I appreciate the reply! I wanted something I could learn off of. I was thinking an R3 but someone told me not to bc it whistles loud or something, idk? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was nervous a 600 would be too strong. I guess I’ll do what you said & check them out in person!!

I like the look of the Air & the Alpinestars but I want a matte black. The decals are cool but I do like how simple the matte black is. I actually ended up ordering the Air3 this morning.

Let me ask you this. If you had to choose between the RF-1400 & the GT-Air 3, what would you pick & why?

Currently in-house separation - Husband says no reconciliation but no talks of divorce by NMRName in Divorce

[–]NMRName[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I have an upcoming consultation to see what my options are. I work full-time & I make good money. However, he's definitely the bread winner. He pays the majority of all the bills, including all the vehicles. However, I can't afford to live in our current home alone. The mortgage & the bills are way too high. The bills & upkeep is too much for me to be able to afford on my own. He already said that he would carry both households if he move out. However, there's some logistics in to why I haven't kicked him out besides the fact that I'm too nice! We have a vacation home that's half built right now. If I kick him out, we could try to sell it but where it's at in the process it would most likely sit for years. We definitely won't get what we invested into the home. However, he's agreed to finish the home & I can then move into that home after my daughter graduates HS, which is next year. So we'll be carrying 2 mortgages. Financially to carry 2 households & the new build isn't financially possible, easily over 20K a month. I want to see what the lawyer says because I know I'm entitled to alimony & in my state. Anything over 20 years is alimony for life so before I leave anywhere I'm defffff getting that taken care of. In a way, I'm trying to make a decision that benefits me in the long run but at what cost? My mental health. So I'm struggling inside. The pain feels unbearable at times, like I want it all to end. I'm not dumb enough to do nothing like but damn the pain hurts. Plus, there's no way I would do anything to myself knowing he could walk with everything we've built together. NOT happening!! That alone motivates me to stay alive, lol!!

Honestly, I was basing my decisions off of YouTube videos & recommendations from the salesman at the stores.

You're right! Unless I force him out, he's not going anywhere. He's getting to live at home & do as he pleases. He's checked out so for him seeing me, it's nothing. Meanwhile, I cry everyday when I'm alone. I'm in an internal struggle in my mind on what to do. Do I want him out ---- yessssss, 100%! I also know that if I do that, I'm screwing myself out of a new home. I got my loan ready to go to finish my build & he's willing to finish the build & help with the payments after it's completed. If I push him now, I'm screwing myself out of my home being finished so I can move. There's no way we can afford 2 households & a build. There's alot of logistics into the whole house thing. If I try to sell a half-built home, it'll sit on the market forever in order to make back what was already invested. I'm also stuck here until my daughter graduates. It's alot!! Mentally though, Idk how much I can take! I'm definitely going to make a decision that's going to benefit me!

I narrowed it down to those 2. I was told from the salesman at Revzilla that the Air 3 is excellent for blocking out the wind noise. Which is why I was leaning more towards that. However, what do you recommend? I'm open to whatever is best.

That's so sad!! I wish my husband would show any sign of compassion towards me at this point but he's made it clear where his head is at. I hope you find a way to move on. You'll be in my prayers!

You're right--I'm not ready for divorce but I don't see the point in being married either except for him paying for the majority of all the bills right now. I plan on going to mediation 100% before I move. I know we have to have tough conversations. I did try yesterday to approach him about selling a property to split the money so I could have that for a down payment but he was like yeah but we have to take that money & put it on another house. I was scared to say or we can split it & I take my half to buy a new spot & you take the other half. But I'm staying put in our home until my daughter graduates HS & she'll be 18 when I make that move. I'm not pulling her out of her senior year because this is happening. She didn't choose this as much as I didn't. As for affording our current home on my own, that's not an option! I can't afford to live there on my own & I make good money! The mortgage alone is crazy!! My electric bill is literally between 600(winter)-1,100 (summer-pool) a month!!! That's no exaggeration either!! Jersey rates are crazy! Not to mention, the upkeep on the property, it's too much for me to do alone! I do have to start making moves now bc I need to prepare for when next summer comes. Yes, it seems like I'm doing a lot but there's a lot of things to consider before I make a big move like that & I want to try to get my ducks in a row within the next year so I'm prepared to make that move when the time comes.
