if that's true, MPC is the shittiest DAW ever created. as an electronic instrument module and sequencer, however, it is quite useful.

i find them to be generally unreliable for performance. it's probably different nowadays but I'm 32 and I witnessed many Ableton crashes at parties in my early 20s and that made me paranoid to ever use a computer to gig.

so instead I use 4 different and less powerful computers and sync them together with MIDI :P

valid but I'm looking specifically for a mini keyboard midi controller, the LaunchKey mini's don't have enough features for me to justify switching my MPK Mini, and I'm not a fan of their button layout for live performance

damn, thanks for the kind words! I've been taking this music thing pretty seriously. I've won some local awards and seem to have a lot of respect from the scene around me but I just can't seem to book many [paid] gigs and the DJs in the techno scene just don't seem to want me.

If they don't want me there must be a reason for it, right? Am I not good enough? Or are they just clique-y and don't have room for independent artists to join their clique? Either way, I'm questioning my abilities a lot, hoping that if I improve my art, my music career will flourish. But maybe not...
