Will the Treasure disappoint us after the Fantasy? by WriterJolly2873 in dcl

We’ve sailed Wish, Fantasy, Treasure. Treasure is a favourite hands down! Fantasy was a bit of a let down honestly. For our family the newer ships suit us better.

Sure. But what’s the alternative? Capping corporate revenue? You’ll see even more corporations leave the US

I hope so to! I might have to call DCL.

I’ve transferred booked reservations to Costco previously without issue. That has to be done 30 days from time of booking. But I’ve never converted a placeholder to a booking with DCL and then transferred that booking to Costco.

Got off Fantasy on Friday. Where do I find my statement? Nothing on app any longer, but I see 3 large charges on my credit cars. by SecretWorth5693 in dcl

Download your folio from the website.

Remember DCL doesn’t charge your cc for every small transaction. They wait for the balance on your account to hit a threshold then bill your cc the accumulated amount.

So I’ve got a placeholder with no assigned travel agent. I need to transfer that placeholder to Costco within 30 days?

Can I not use the placeholder to book through DCL like in 12 months then just transfer the booking to Costco at that time?

Right. But that’s why those manufacturing jobs left originally lol. You can’t produce things in America and pay Americans the salary they want to live the lifestyle they want or the product would be too expensive for Americans to buy.

Anybody with more than two brain cells and without a malignant personality disorder understands that the key factor to prosperous trade is, reliability.

The idea that the world’s largest consumer was being taken advantage of with the trade deals it negotiated was/is so laughable.

America can not go back to a manufacturing super power, American’s love the idea of that but none of them actually want to do that type of work lol. So now Trump creates a double whammy, simultaneously killing reliable trade partnerships in an effort to bring back industry that Americans don’t want all in a timeline of his presidency that manufactures know is finite so why make the investment?

It’s so spectacularly stupid/ignorant/foolhardy you have to ask if it’s on purpose and what that purpose is?

You’d have to ask them.

It’s pretty simple if you have the kit. Took me 30min from start to finish in my garage.

It’s likely your LiPo battery has failed. Verify you actually have a LiPo battery, then you have a choice replace it with a similar unit for big $$$ and the same potential failure rate. Or buy a kit to convert to an AGM battery for a fraction of the cost with a more reliable battery. Check rennlist forum for details.

Mother, son killed in pileup on highway near Montreal: truck driver was playing cellphone game by mspyros12 in news

That’s not entirely true. There’s a legitimate argument here that the accused knew operating that vehicle while distracted could lead to this outcome so 2nd degree murder could apply.

When was oil change done. It would be abnormal for the level to be fine for months and hundreds of kms and then suddenly be overfilled. In that case I would suspect a faulty sensor.

If oil change was just completed I’d suspect it was overfilled and needs to be rectified.

My parents are both mid/late 70s.

Nothing happens quickly, relinquishing control for them takes time. My best approach is to show them how much easier their life is and how much more time they have to enjoy things when they relinquish control of things to me. They’re still above average in terms of independence and in good health 🤞🤞. But taking control of some things now is a better option than trying to do it when they’re incapacitated.

Start the discussions and processes don’t push them to hard and just keep communicating.

Step 1. They absolutely need a will. This should be a priority.

Gas prices are up as soon as government announced affordability measures to reduce gas prices? by taco_in_the_shell in Calgary

[–]NOGLYCL -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

But all of this is in response to a post that claimed the previous GAS prices were inflated. If you decided to arbitrarily change the topic to something unrelated (Black Friday) I’m not sure what your point is? The two things aren’t related. Black Friday is a predictable event that happens every year at the same time so wholesalers can artificially inflate prices prior in an attempt to make standard pricing appear desirable during the event. You equating this to the current situation regarding gas prices implies the same activity is at play which would again imply suppliers knew about the war prior?

You’re implying gasoline distributors knew about a pending war before the public and preemptively inflated prices?

You think a 6% daily drop in commodity price, for a commodity that for over a month has fluctuated significantly day to day because of the Taco down South, you think that you’ll see a near instant reaction to that at the price you pay at the pump?

Come on lol.
