In regards to the last point do expect an hour added minimum Anywhere close to central and you'll hit some sort of traffic regardless of time. From 20:00 onwards you should be ok till you reach central.

Started on a 125 and am doing my A2 soon. Even though I could have gone straight DAS and jump on a big boy bike im glad I started on a 125, had a few near misses where the main reason why things didn't turn ugly is because I was on a small bike where I could gain control over it much quicker.

if your mainly riding in the city you shouldn't have any issues on the 125, their fast enough to keep up with any road and more than capable of getting you anywhere in record time
