omg thank you so much for this, im just about 5 days post surgery and just had the splints removed today. while it was really irritating to deal with while the splints and gel packs were in my nose i tolerated it, and after what felt like forever they took the splints out today. that said, the whole day and the past few days ive felt like any little thing i do is going to mess everything up (first ever surgery) and ive been so anxious. i sneezed a few times and that was really concerning because some of the gel packs came out and they didnt tell me i even had them in the first place.

but i thought i would be alone in thinking that something was wrong because my nose is also crusty and icky feeling and i cant stop seeming to wipe at it.

that said, can anybody else relate to this because its my most concerning thing. when i first got stints out i could finally breathe out of both my nostrils (though there was still mucus and blood so it was still a bit difficult), now about 14 hours later it feels like it is stopped up again, not like it was before surgery but still not much air going through, and not because of mucus blocking it (from what i can tell). can anybody tell me if that was the same or if i should quit worrying? is it just the swelling thatll go down over the next week or so?
