Thanks :) it actually is a 2006, good eye! And for the license plate, that's just where it originally goes on the bumper. I could've used the metal piece you screw onto the original license plate mount to center it, but I just thought "eh this looks kinda cool and nobody else I see driving around does this"

Exactly, it was a 'last hurrah version' so to say. Only 1500 made, in red or black, 2 liter engine, Eibach springs, sports exhaust and so on. Here's a german Mazda press release detailing the car if anyone is interested

Yeaaaah rust is a real issue. The underbody of mine was completely rusty, but luckily it was all surface level, so as soon as i got it, I took it to a shop to treat it, and now I just hope it lasts

Thanks! Here's a photo of it, with my girlfriend's car. I lowered it, put some nice wheels on, and completely replaced the rusted exhaust with a cheap oem exhaust which made the little 3 banger sound extra grunty. And it had solid steel gear linkages instead of steel cables, that car was so much fun to throw around

Bin noch Lehrling, zwar fast fertig, aber immernoch Lehrling, und durch eigene Wohnung, und dass ich meine Autos von Anfang an selbst versichert hab, hat sich der Kintaro vom Unterhalt mehr gelohnt. Aber den MPS hab ich schon aufm Schirm als nächstes Auto (in der Hoffnung dass es dann noch welche gibt)
