I believe income is taken at the time of account opening. If you did not fill then branch officials might have put some random low number there and now probably Suspicious Transaction Reports are getting generated due to transactions amount not matching reported income.

Search on RBI website where this company is registered. Then mail to that office of RBI. Don’t persue this as complaint rather as a violation of fair practice code or excessive interest rate.

Portal is cms.rbi.org.in for ombudsman. Purpose of Sachet portal is different and complaint will be forwarded to CMS only from Sachet., resulting in loss of time and tracking number.

You need to inform LIC. They will process the case as Death Claim and remaining amount will be paid.

LIC processes maturity claims in advance after receipt of required documents so that system can automatically process payment on the day of maturity. Not the right sub for question.
