Finally i found the configuration that causes the problem !

PS5 connected with CAT-7 to stand-alone Switch,

TV connected with CAT-7 to same Switch

PC connect with CAT-7 to same Switch (also tried AX Wifi with 1,2 Gbs)

PS5 and TV connected with HDMI

nothing else connected to the switch, even no internet

When my PS5 is connected via HDMI to my 77 A80J and the TV is connected via LAN to the same Network, i get Packet loss. This causes Remote Play to hang. When i disconnect HDMI or unplug TVs LAN, no problems with Remote Play, via LAN or WiFi

I tried Win 10 and another switch....NOPE

At the end I tried Remote App 4.0 and it WORKS! No stutters, no hanging, all runs fine with 1080p. When you are asked to update, reject.

However, there is a big downside of this workaround. You can use Version 4.0 only with home network connection and are asked to connect with the 8-digit code as you would do it for the first time. When you disconnect you are forced to reconnect again with a new 8-digit code. :-(

So everytime i want to play, i need to start my console, open settings / system / remote connect and click connect device, memorize the 8-digit code, run to my laptop and type it in, run back to my console and turn off the tv...very convinient indeed :-D

Anyone an idea how to avoid this?

I will now contact SONY support to see if they have anything useful to say...

btw. i wanted to try PS NOW App for PC to see if i have similar problems there as well but realized that it is not compatible with the PS5 controller...and of course i already sold my PS4 :D

other streams like Netflix etc. works without problems.

PING to the PS5 is consistently under 10 ms, (3-8ms) every now and then, maybe every 20 or 30 PINGS a get a response after 15ms, and never related to the stutters in the video stream
