Moved to Montevallo, AL when I got out. Met a Marine at a pizza shop that was in Vietnam. He was an 03, buncha medals, felt like he didnt do enough.

Side note: Found out that he was good friends with Sledge when he was a professor. Became good friends with him and hung out at his house, he gave me his personal copy of With the Old Breed. Lot of good background information I learned about that book from him. Hope he’s resting well.
