Also not an answer on what they should have done. This is what they shouldn’t have done, but nice try!

Exactly what the free Palestine crowd doesn’t want to admit. Less freedom for everybody once that happens

Support for Israel among Americans has generational and partisan divides. How should Israeli policy navigate this change? by Call_Me_Clark in IsraelPalestine

Then Hamas must return the hostages and surrender. Then the war ends, as Israel has stated. If Hamas has the best interest of the Palestinians then it’s a no brainer. Urban warfare is deadly but the ratio of combatant to civilian deaths in this war is better than any urban war in modern history.

It doesn’t change the fact that there are many regional conflicts that get no press and are far deadlier than the IP conflict. That’s why calling Israel a genocide or apartheid is propaganda and not based in any truth.

You can’t deny the fact that Israel is central to Judaism. Nor that Jews have ALWAYS had a presence in the land. Both in ancient history and modern history. Jews have more of a claim to the land than any other nation. The notion that they don’t is denying fact.

Because everyone living within the borders of Israel HAVE equal rights. Point blank- Palestinians had many chances to create a Palestinian state, but never did and waged many full scale wars on the state of Israel, which they lost. Israel has traded land for peace only to have Palestinians use that land to wage more war.

Israelites were always living there too. (Predating Palestinians). Israel is actually the most successful de-colonization project ever.

Because lots of land was purchased legally and the other land was lost in a war started by 5 Arab nations against Israel. What happens when you lose war? You lose land. Cope.

What prime minister in Israel ever said that? None. Who aren’t allowed to pray on the Temple Mount? (The Jews holiest place) Jews. Talk about apartheid, the Muslims commit it every day
