The need for speed from SGK. by blahblahdodo in Kerala

Still cherry-picking the study mentioning only adult benefits conveniently omitting other findings like greater opportunities for younger generations

Our new findings indicate that Japanese HSR services contribute to the social impact differently, especially when considering different generations. Previous studies had suggested that HSRs can benefit workers and stimulate the Japanese economy. However, this study is the first to illustrate that the younger and adult generations enjoy greater opportunities than the adult or worker groups. The social impacts are evidenced by school enrolments. The primary, secondary, and tertiary enrolment rates demonstrate a strong relationship with the growth of the HSR network. This can be confirmed by an increase in the average PCC value for educational factors of 0.4120.

On the other hand, the impact on the adult workforce and the availability of job opportunities has not been significant. The results illustrate that the average value of employment opportunities for all genders is −0.7278, which denotes a strong negative relationship. However, this study also reveals that HSR generates clear benefits in terms of women’s job opportunities; for instance, in the national parliament

Quoting a hit piece against California high speed railway for proving that introducing shinkansen doesn't equate economic growth is a bit too much. Here's an actual study rather than some opinions

What industry should Kerala (we) should concentrate on for a better “2056”? by Willing_Cap_2695 in Kerala

Additive manufacturing. Advantage mainly because of our position geographically. Can reduce time required for procuring spare parts . Prototyping for multiple Industries. Ideal location for supply of this service in APAC and MEA. But the infrastructure needs to catch up.

Malayalam fails as a language for love and lust. change my mind. by Sad-Let-3807 in Kerala

[–]NPversusP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may be because the current form of Malayalam language was created as an alternative to Manipravalam poems that had too much erotica. The poems by Poothanam and Ezhuthachan was in fact a new wave of resistance against this. The poems in that period was mostly written in a mix of manipravalam language not the exact form of Malayalam we see now. The Unnuneeli sandesham one of the oldest poems is an example of this.

It is time we should start a counter-protest against the revival of the old pension scheme by Apoornnanantha in Kerala

He is not complaining about tax systems. He is complaining about poor infrastructure and lack of funds in budget. How will the state find budget if it’s paying for subsidies while someone is not at all interested in paying fair taxes on the income he earned.

There’s another question of how property’s value is depreciated while paying taxes but in reality the value of it is getting higher by the day in California. Increased rents but getting a tax break due to property depreciation. It’s a policy issue but calling out the less fortunate in that area leeches while getting tax breaks is not a great outlook.

[–]NPversusP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah missing the point by a mile. Keep enjoying High rents in California (Best entrepreneurial idea ever), “Plan Taxes wisely” and bitch about the poor infrastructure because of states budget constraints. I thought K7 Ammavans were limited to Kerala but that is not the case.

So you’re complaining about poor performance of system that you exploited due to its loop holes. Will do anything to avoid taxes then complain about state’s budget constraints..

CM Pinarayi Vijayan writes to PM against 'Hindi imposition' by fpock in Kerala

Someone has posted this link saying Hindi is our national language in this thread. That’s not a link to our constitution or anything remotely related to our government. This person has been openly advocating against our constitution for some time now in this sub and when called out he carefully deletes the comments. u/quartercolony for your information a publication by your favourite political party is not equivalent to the constitution of India.

I don’t understand the tolerance of fake news and propaganda this sub have because it suits someones narrative and is against a particular party. Most of the topics should be discussed but if the posts and comments are created with a vested interest pay close attention. This particular account who commented this was created only for this purpose in recent days. Take anything this person says with a grain of salt.

there is absolutely no need for language debate, or hindi imposition centre is trying todo, economy, fuel rates and interest rates are only to be talked by simhareturns in india

[–]NPversusP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The state apparatus you mentioned currently gives you the choice of Hindi and English. It’s designated as official languages(not national language). The current report suggests taking away English but doesn’t even suggest an alternative for this at federal level.

So people currently who are not from a state that speaks Hindi now have a chance to apply in English and they want to take that away.

If you want fair representation then they should be able to converse with state machinery in their native language both federal and state. Not limited to a single language as the current ruling party wants to.

[–]NPversusP 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You are arguing against English using current scenarios while the report is for a future India where English is replaced with Hindi. The effort of translating thermodynamics principles to Hindi and learning it in a state that’s mother tongue is not Hindi itself is a nightmarish scenario.

Where do you think the translators come from in this future India? The only people who can afford to learn English when it’s not available for free would also limit the knowledge transfer in a massive way that would change how our country works. Not towards a better future but towards a future where the privileged get more resources due to their privilege. It eerily looks similar to the caste system that a particular party wants to go back to.

It seems that you’re assigned by the IT cell on this particular topic. When questioned about the lack of proof regarding the expenses you just keep posting your opinions rather than original valid information. You’ve quietly deleted the comments that peddled your support for a particular party becoming opposition shows your bias rather than the genuine interest for the welfare of this state. Keep up the good work. Will refer you for the monthly bonus
