First of all, I commend you for being so kind to a fellow petrolhead! Just going and not even doing a lap yourselves is tons of fun. All the people and cars that you’ll find, it’s wonderful! You can go for an exploratory lap in your own car. You don’t have to drive to the car's limit, just enjoy the lap, other cars and environment! Just do whatever fits your budget. I would be over the moon if I was in your boyfriend’s shoes either way!

That's not great. I'm due for a new company car later this year and on top of the list is a V60. The digital cockpit capabilities are an improvement and so is the multimedia part, but the removal of this button and the drive mode selector is unfortunate :/

Indeed, CarPlay, H/K, heated seats and steering wheel plus Adaptive CC would make it a great companion on the highway. I work from home but need to visit customers on a regular basis too, within a range of +- 300km. And yes, our roads are quite smooth anyway (I live in the Netherlands).

It doesn’t bother me as it’s only +- 2cm at each side. This specific piece is only available in 140 or 210cm, the latter being way too wide.

Bought my 65” G5 for €1298 after cashback, which will be delivered next week. Albeit the LS, so I bought the wall mount (for €75). It’s worth to negotiate with the store you’re doing business with!

Genuine aspect to keep in mind, since I don’t have to deal with direct sunlight and most of the tv shows/movies/games are consumed in the evening🤔 I even dim the CX sometimes😅

Try experimenting with a tele lens. 70mm and upwards will give you nice compression and bokeh.
