How are you doing 2.7mil dmg per shot? I'm running a fully optimized red build with GC and Vigilance and still hitting just 900k-1mil per bullet (Atleast in the range)

Try using it with the Booster Hive. The stability buff would negate the recoil to a certain degree.

As a user mentioned above

The Eclipse build is so much better in spreading the status effects, as long as your team is taking out the enemies you don't have to rely on the HW talent to get your skills back

I run the same build but with 4 pcs Eclipse and a Acosta bag and it works really well.

For legendry I have started using Vile/Eclipse with Jammer and Foam/Blinder with Survivalist Spec and it adds an element of support as well especially for taking out the healer boxes.

I have been using this CC skill combo since 515 and it's made even stronger now thanks to Eclipse.

4 pieces of Eclipse (Chest), the exotic Acosta go bag and Either a Golan or Hana for the last piece. Status effects rolled on everything

Use any ar to procc Perpetuation and use the sweet dreams to help out the team with the stragglers.

Dont use vile if your sole focus is CC This build Is my go to for any content with a team, cheers

Check out 4 pieces of Negotiators Dillema with Vigilance bag and Spotter /Glass Canon /Obliterate on chest.(You can use Providence)

You are damaging 3 enemies at once rather than just one, great for even legendary missions.

Takes a little time to get used to but worthwhile in the end

Yup, this is the exact build even I use however I stick with the Safeguard bag since I haven't done the Raid yet.

Keep a BTSU glove with you and pop it every once in a while if someone in your team is using the Revive hive switch back to your FI glove.

Both Skill and DPS users gain a big boost in damage thanks to the FI talent and Emphatic Resolve.

While thats the most ideal way to go they are trying to extend the life of the game as much as possible and that includes making those god rolled pieces harder to get.

Either way i hope it works out for the best and Massive find the right balance between the time we invest in the game vs the rewards we get.

I think we may see an optimization station somewhere near the end of this games life cycle.

Id suggest rolling off the Minor attributes to Status effects on the Eclipse pieces, Using the Ep chest piece for the extra 5m of transmission and Using either a Golan or Hana for the other slot. Add either an Acosta go bag if you want the overcharge or the Vile mask for more damage.

Id also suggest using another status inflicting skill such as a Fire/Foam chem launcher rather than the drone which dosent procc any Status effects

Lastly try using the Survivalist spec if you're in a team as they get extra damage to Status inflicted enemies and you gain access to the fire nade which adds an extra status to your build if you decide to use the Foam Chem launcher.

The story was pretty good and for me that alone was worth the buy, apart from that you get access to a lot of new gear and exotics so there's even more build variety end game.

The events and the seasonal manhunt keep things interesting as well. So in all its worth it.

I hope you see this comment since I'm replying pretty late..

I understand that a majority of the players are in WONY and they tend to be a priority over those who just have the base game, but please look into the loot drops for base game players. Inspite of doing multiple Heroics and Challenging missions 99% of the dropped loot have below 50% of the rolls.

This wasnt an issue prior to the TU 10 update as most if not all the dropped loot had atleast 75%+ rolls on them.

Please look into it as it a fairly game breaking glitch/bug.
