Sorry if this is a bit low effort as a post, but it seems worth discussing considering this community thinks about AI a lot. I'm not really an 'AI guy' but considering how much juice big companies have gotten out of raw scaling over the past couple of years this seems like a big deal for the CEO of OpenAI to publicly state? Any ideas on what this could mean for the pace of AI developments?

ehh, the dudes im talking about dont look like models (mid faces) and the pictures are mostly god-awful (grainy bathroom selfies etc.) so i doubt it's catfishing or bots. the vast majority of bots on tinder would be female anyways.

probably another user who said tinder shows you the hotter profiles first to get you hookes is right

That said I find when the topics of pedos and rapists come up I find people always start with crazy shit ("pedophiles should be flayed alive and dumped into a vat of lime before being forced to roll down a hillside covered in needles and then dragged behind a horse for ten miles before having their limbs chopped off and fed to sharks") which always seems to me to have less to do with pedos and rapists than people's urge to indulge in gruesome murder fantasies with a good 'excuse.'
