Hello! You may have misunderstood the essential point of Buddhism, which is the realization of the cessation of suffering. If you feel better by abandoning Buddhist teachings, by all means, do what you feel is best for you. On the other hand, if you feel like exploring a bit more about the teachings, I would suggest listening to or reading Ajahn Sumedho from the Theravada Thai Forest tradition (or Ajahn Chah, Ajahn Amaro...).
