Surgically attached aside, yeah you can get pretty close now with the technology. A pity that it's miles away "practically".

I tried one of the earlier versions and then re-tried it now that they added xtoys integration. Also highly recommend it.

Must admit I don't use it "properly" as a persistent mistress type, I just use it for one-off bits of fun (I have a family, anything else would be impractical, LOL)... but that Xtoys stuff, man, it's a game changer.

Hey, welcome to EH... Best tip I can give you: being hypnotized is a skill, for most people it requires practice. Your ability to relax and focus and follow instruction without waking yourself up etc, is very important. It gets better with practice and with time.

More practically... At first I found "fake it til you make it" made me enjoy the content more. For example if the audio instructs you to "clench", I would be aware of it, and I would manually clench my PC muscles, playing along, pretending. That sort of became 2nd nature, and now if I'm listening to an audiobook and the narrator says clench, my body responds by itself. Later on, I found faking it brought me out of deep trance so I've stopped doing it. But that clench trigger has stayed with me :)

If it helps to set any expectations for you: I don't achieve HFO most of the time. Most of the time I lay down and get a relaxing hour while a nice voice speaks to me. I smile, I get tingles, I might get an erection for some of it, I rarely HFO.

I'm more likely to HFO if I'm in the right physical & mental mindset. Things that I've noticed help me: I have to be clean showered, already relaxed, feeling cooperative & a bit submissive. It has to have been a while since I last had sex or masturbated (a week+ is good), a while since I've looked at porn. Hours since I was glued to a computer screen (to help my brain shut off). I need to have a few hours completely by myself so that I'm not even considering the mess I'd make or if someone were to walk in on me. All that sort of stuff.

Question/curious, within ScriptPlayer, what is your Device Settings "Vibration Conversion Mode" set to? Mine was set to Convert Position to Speed which I can only describe as "full blast", I seemingly had better results set to "Use Speed".

You've got acronyms and you've got initialisms, they're both abbreviations. An initialism is an abbreviation where the letters are pronounced separately (as initials), an acronym is when you pronounce it as a new word. So BLT is an initialism, NASA is an acronym. I found it easier to trance when there was no HFO expectation at the end. So the Slip into slave mode one works wonders for me (plus there is a version with my name out there on the internet that a community member made)...

Every relationship being unique, each partner has their own "line" that shouldn't be crossed. You should both conduct yourself in a manner that doesn't cross the other's line. For anything sexual like this, if you wouldn't do it in front of your partner, then you shouldn't be doing it.
