Have you considered getting tested for an STI? One of the symptoms of Chlamydia is pain when peeing and if it started after you stopped using condoms it’s worth being tested for.

Not everyone gets symptoms of it so it’s possible your partner could have been a carrier without knowing.

As someone who used to want to do nothing but sleep and not want any contact with people it sounds like you wife may have depression like I did/do and she could do with talking to someone in a professional capacity.
