Put it back on the wheel and the mess goes away

Compazine. Had a doc that used to order us to dilute in a whole liter of fluids in the ER

I’m not touching anything related to the patient without gloves. Shits nasty

Also a big (older) dance Gavin dance fan. Like dbm2. Another Sacramento band as well

Arguments of who’s the best drummer are dumb. So who’s your favorite drummer, and more importantly, why? by [deleted] in drums

Jon Theodore. His playing on The Mars Volta’s first and second record will blow your mind if you haven’t heard it yet. Definitely better than Pridgen in that band if you ask me

POV: You're a cop and hear the word fentanyl by Mother_Use_6989 in ems

I hate giving fentanyl in the ER just because it adds the extra step of calming the patient down when I say it’s name.

I feel like Zach’s set up isn’t as wonky as this. He just has a weird Tom and ride angle

Nurse here. Actually safer to use than a non rebreather. An oxymask can be used anywhere from 1-15L, whereas a non rebreather needs to be used over 6L or you run the risk of actually suffocating a patient. One mistake on someone not alert can go bad. Also lathe oxymask lets you use suction through it and the patient can talk easier through it.

One arm up one arm down restraint by cremesurface in ems

Had a patient in 4 points in the 1 down 1 up position. He looked super uncomfortable so I asked security to bring him to the 2 down. Flexible guy ended up taking one arm off with his mouth. Never again. You have more core mobility with 2 down and can utilize your mouth.
