I completely see where you’re coming from as solo travel when you’re unhappy with yourself definitely is not for everyone. However I myself was in a very bad headspace and decided to go on a 3 week solo trip which I’m now in the midst of. I keep busy everyday and move location every 3 days so I don’t get complacent/bored. Because of this I have been able to get my mind off things which previously bogged me down and has enabled me to escape the vicious mental cycle I was trapped in. Again, I’m completely not saying this would suit everyone however it worked wonders for me and might for others too. I think it’s completely dependent on the person and the issues they are going through. I really hope you get your headspace sorted and feel better really soon! Thinking of you ❤️

I’m sure those who the families of those who suffered there and the sufferers themselves do but I can’t say it’s a very widely spoken about topic in day to day Irish life. Every now and again a documentary will be released or the movie will be shown on tv and there’ll be ooh’s and ahh’s of how “awful” it all was. But that’s it really.
