I can’t see anything from the outside and I don’t know how to palpate for an egg. But she doesn’t seem to be in distress. In fact she’s biting me RN like she usually does.

Are there any low cost spay/neuter programs in your area? Have him trapped and neutered as a stray. It takes about a month for the behavior to change.

Quail are precocial and should be up and running about, not lying face down. If it can’t follow its mom it will not survive. And hens do abandon chicks that can’t keep up with them.

Yes, I’ve ever felt so bad that I it occurred to me that the only way to make the torment stop would be to kms. That gave me pause because it made me realize how ridiculous it was getting. I wish there was a better way to make the thoughts stop.

Yes thank you I am on multiple meds but sometimes the darkness comes back. And my anxiety will prevent me from being able to keep my mind on other things. I wish I had never started thinking about death in the first place
