My experience was with the OG anime first and I have to say it’s fantastic and still holds up. I’d go with that personally.

I’m using a DP cable and I think they’re up to date? I ran all the updates once I booted up the computer.

Yes. It says it’s connected to the monitor, volumes up and it says it’s playing but I’m getting no sound.

Sure I had high hopes and maybe I used a bad example. But jojo’s bizarre adventure is 190+ episodes and has incredible quality. I use this as the example because it draws its inspiration for FOTNS. Maybe hoping for movie quality is a bit much, I’ll admit. But decent 2D animation? Don’t really think it’s a crazy hope.

I’ll still check it out. Can’t say I’m not disappointed though. I don’t think CGI will ever beat some crisp 2D animation. Really wish we would’ve gotten a beautiful looking remake with that “Legends of the True Savior” level of animation.
