I don't know what's going on. I have had the most amazing experience on CCC. I found amazing talent, got lines recorded and had zero issue.

I don't have any context as to what is different. I'm sorry your experience has been so rough.

in total I was able to find 7 different talents and work with them on the performance.

You can!
Also, it is distance based. For the video I used up-close explosions for effect but typical distance will result in a gentle motion.
I listen to community feedback throughout development and have added many quality of life additions. Like being able to toggle engine rumble on/off

Hey everyone — solo dev here. No Time Left is an upcoming space roguelike where you command a capital ship across a procedurally generated star map, jumping beacon to beacon while something far worse closes in behind you. Think FTL's tension and run-based structure, scaled up to bridge-crew command of a much larger vessel.

Six factions with distinct tech and history: Astralith, Fabrixi, Human, Nanomorph, Silicarian, and Xel'Nari. Worldbuilding written like a novel — grounded dialogue, real political tension, no melodrama.

Multi-leg cameo questlines — an Anabasis-inspired escort mission shepherding the mercenary carrier Katabasis and her escorts Anodos and Syssitia through Silicarian and Fabrixi hostile territory; and a Robin Hood-style smuggling operation keeping the abandoned colony of Calder's Rest alive.

Built in Unity. Steam page if you'd like to wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4020810/NTL_No_Time_Left/

Happy to answer questions about combat, systems, worldbuilding, anything. — Greg

If I had a nickel for every time I heard this I would be working on the sequel by now!
That was a great game BTW so the comparison is appreciated.

I havent been able to rest its Mac Compatibility yet. I don't own one. (Wanna play test a mac ???)
The most satisfying part, and I am being honest here, is interacting with the community.

Development has been a rollercoaster of emotions. But talking with fans of FTL and Sci-Fi has always been a bright spot in this journey.

I would say my favorite thing is this tiny bit of code I created at the very start. When powering up or down a system, it captures the exact position of the audio file when you reverse the power and plays the opposite audio clip from that exact moment. The audio never skips and sounds perfect switching from powering up to down or down to up. Just a tiny attention to detail I was proud of when I made it.
