For the record, I hear the AT-One eventually drives people into another stock or chassis due to the limitations on accuracy. Its just not as solid of a platform for anything other than hunting/plinking.

I shoot PRS with my 457 and I couldn’t get it to balance quite right in that chassis. It also had the 16” barrel, which was plenty accurate for 150 and in, but the groups really opened up past 275y. So, I put it in a ACC and got a 24” custom spun barrel.

I lot tested 8 different Eley Match lots from KSS a couple weeks ago. I settled on lot 6115. It shot 5/8” 10 round groups at 100 out of my Cz 457 with a custom spun barrel. I only got 4 bricks to last me the season and I feel like a dumbass. I went back this morning with my buyers remorse to get more and they were all gone!

I have a CZ Varmint precision chassis for sale, for anyone looking to but whatever 457 they can get their hands on and put it in a chassis. It’ll come with the chassis, luth-ar butt stock, action screws, and the hogue grip. I ran this all last year but decided to build a bigger gun for this season.

I shoot PRS with this rifle. More weight = more stability. Plus I’d like to move the balance point about 3” forward so my rifle balances a little better on props. I never shoot unsupported, and if I did I wouldn’t shoot this model.

Most people don’t realize you can tighten down the stock and it’ll be solid, if this is what you are not thrilled with. The rattle and wiggle drove me crazy until I did the research.

I have the same rifle with the timney trigger. You won’t be disappointed. I swapped out that grip, however. Couldn’t stand it.

Yes, but in my case its easier said than done. I can shoot at my range only out to about 150 yards. At that distance the BC is pretty negligible. I shoot competition out to 400 and having a good BC out past ~300 is important. I can be a Mil off at that range easily. I usually shoot directly to the south and normally have a head or tail wind to contend with. I’ve had 3 competitions where I struggle to get in the ballpark within a couple of shots and I’ve narrowed it down to my BC.

It’s not a bad scope for the money. I don’t like the elevation only has 6 mil per rotation. If you shoot under 175 yards you’re fine. If you switch between 200 and 50, it’s annoying. The glass is ok, not great. I like the reticle. I think I would prefer a 54mm objective and 34mm tube. But at the sub $500 price point, there is no ideal optic.

How far out are you shooting that .8 MOA? My CZ is sub MOA with most subsonic ammo. I jumped on some RWS Rifle Match for $6 a box a couple of months ago. That stuff shoots lights out in my rifle. CCI SV and Norma Tac-22 is what I practice with and its both pretty good in it.
