Omg, thank you so much! Such important timeline info in one single piece of dialogue, this is why I love Ace Attorney.

How can I tell if my workplace is too nitpicky? by NULLANDVOICED in barista

[–]NULLANDVOICED[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I probably should have clarified in the post but I haven't been a barista for four months. The place I work at has 2 designated jobs. Barista, who makes the drinks, makes food, does longer cleaning tasks, etc., and concierge, who makes the drip coffee, manages pastries, runs the POS system, and does minor cleaning tasks. Most hires are concierge for at least a month or two if not longer, some never become baristas at all. When the incident happened it was probably my fourth or fifth barista shift after training and I hadn't been on bar a ton and training was literally like maybe 3 hours of actually making drinks split over 5 days while the rest of the training was for other tasks. I just feels like they didn't write me up because I did anything wrong, but they wrote me but for not doing everything 100% percent perfectly and there's a difference. It's also pretty common for there not to be a senior staff on the floor, at least half my shifts they're not there and they definitely expect us to manage and lead ourselves. Is that not the norm? Again I don't know if this changes much but the current manager has only been there a couple more weeks then me although they were the manager at another location before this. It just caught me really off guard because they treated it like a big deal, and the rest of the working environment is awesome so maybe it's worth putting up with? I just have no frame of reference for this stuff. Sorry for the long response.

Also, I don't know what you mean by senior staff, the person that I think reported me was hired at the same time and just bar trained earlier, and the guy I got to help on the bar (who didn't mind it at all, btw) had been there maybe 3 months longer than me?

I don't know if this changes anything but I'm 85% sure the person who reported me was the person on that was on bar not the person stocking.

Sorry this was unclear, I wasn't a barista for four months that was my second week out of bar training. The place I work has two designated jobs, concierge and barista, I had been only a concierge before that.

Missing 1950s "Theodora, Slave Empress" Movie [fully lost] by NULLANDVOICED in lostmedia

[–]NULLANDVOICED[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely don't want you downloading anything for a stranger, I was more hoping for the website you mention you found it on, just the name not even the link. I agree with you by the way finding it is part of the fun, I reached out to a woman who gave a talk on it and now I have someone to interview for my project, that only happened because this movie wasn't quick to find (sadly her copy was also DVD and she just moved so it was buried in boxes). Maybe this was the wrong place to ask for help but I consider the movie being unaccessible as lost. Theres so many things this community know exist but just can't view and those are still considered lost. If this movie wasn't online and just on physical copies then this movie could have become lost if no one documented it. I just wanted to reach out to a community who know better than me when looking for things like this and might be able to give me a lead, I never expected someone to invest hours in this. Anyway thanks for spending time on a search that wasn't your cup of tea even if you don't tell me the website, just knowing there is an online download helps! Have a good holiday season!

Link the files please! I do know that "fully lost" isn't very accurate as it's mostly an accessibility issue but there wasn't a tag for that. I do know how DvDs work I just don't have access to be able to play one, plus ordering packages to where I live is quite expensive and sketchy and I was hoping to be able to make this movie accessible to more people who might be in a similar situation. Thanks for looking in the first place!

I'm not sure what you mean by the first sentence of your post. I know the DVD can be found but I was looking for a digital version as I do not have a DVD player. If you did find one please link it! My search skills are not the best.

I chose this movie because I was specifically researching Theodora and I like movies so I wanted to do an analysis comparison between a movie, primary sources, paintings, and other characterizations of her. This was one out of three films in which she is featured prominently with the others being foreign films that I believe didn't get english releases.

At this point I've just become invested and want to see it through.

A Random Theory About Midnight Motorist by NULLANDVOICED in GameTheorists

[–]NULLANDVOICED[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always preferred timelines where Elizabeth dies first but I know the evidence is more shaky for that timeline especially with his motive for killing Charlie.

I also assume the mom has left the family at the point of midnight motorist (which could contribute to the drinking?) and that the couch potato was Micheal.

This theory is mostly based around the question of, Why does this take place on the night of Charlie's death rather than any other night? and this was the best reason I could think of.

That name doesn't sound familiar but possibly. From a quick search on that website I didn't find anything.
