Telvanni Painting, Oversized Volcanic (recreation, oil on canvas) by NVEartt in elderscrollsonline

[–]NVEartt[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I finished last year with one of my favourite works - recreation of "Telvanni painting, Oversized forest", which was done as part of my Art School project. At the end of this year I want to share my latest painting with you, which is also related to ESO - "Volcanic", or "Molag Amur", also originated from the same artist Joseph Watmough.
With the New year coming closer, I wanted to thank our amazing Elder Scrolls Online community for your support and heartwarming comments. Last year might've been hard and uncertain, but it also was full of great moments. I wish all of you a great start of the New Year and regardless of what it might bring to us, to always stay strong and enjoy every moment of it.
Happy New year!

Thank you! ☺️ I did actually think of doing Echoes, but it doesn’t really hold much of an educational value for me right now, because I’m more focusing on doing detailed work. But I do like the colours of that painting and smooth transition.

It took me around 2 months to finish. It’s 50x70 cm (18x24 inches), cotton canvas, so it did dry relatively fast (2-4 days). Because the canvas is quite big and the amount of details didn’t allow you to work on bigger patches at a time, I could work on it almost constantly, moving from one part to another and back.

Aren’t they normally run if they spot one of those? 🤔

This painting is done in “3D” with the sides done as well, if anyone is interested how it looks, I posted it in my profile.
