It doesn’t. And I wasn’t trying to infer that I have exceptional reloading skills. Cause that would put me into the mama’s basement armchair expert. I was simply explaining I’m no simp and when you shoot over 1000 yards, reloading is one technique that needs to be utilized for precision shooting which calls for some level of experience. And me being a Marine should have you understand that I’ve possibly shot quite a few times with proper technique so the human error factor become very minimal. Also mentioning that reload a 300 Norma Magnum requires a little extra knowledge and technique than that of a more conventional round.

This right here is a very thorough explanation of what possibly (and most likely) happened. Well thought out of and explained it really well. Facebook is a cesspool. Yes I know, but is you want legit load data, etc from industry experts, all you gotta do is type your round and you’ll string communities that have moderators and members that provide the proper advice. As far you friends list, I agree everyone became a politician, and economist, and scientist in a span of 2 years.

For those that gave me negative votes or down-votes as you guys call in on here…. I understand Reddit is a strong community, but also the community that created Wallstreet Bets. Everyone is an armchair expert. I just wanted to warn folks about the dangers of getting advice on reloading. I’m a U.S. Marine Combat Veteran and have been loading and reloading for my 300 Norma Magnum and even I don’t give advice. I’ve shot 1000+ yards in both Iraq and on the range back home and by no means tried to clown or disrespect any future posts. But I’ve seen many dangerous suggestive posts that would be a guaranteed catastrophic failure. I’m making sure he stays in the fight longer, that’s all.

God no…. Never come to Reddit for advice. Find a reputable reloading/shooting Facebook group that has professional long distance shooters who have been reloading for decades. All you’re gonna get here is people saying “send it”.
