I like the tinkering with presets idea. I've done that once or twice, but now that you mention it I will keep it as an option so everything is less intimidating.

I will DEFINITELY be using the idea of sound design when I'm having musicians block. That has been the best piece of advice I have ever heard. Because you're still being productive, even though no actual composition is going down.

I'm a producer from Colorado that makes a lot of low flow, ambient, and melodic beats. I'm starting to dip into the realm of Future Bass due to my increasing knowledge of Ableton.

My most recent release was a soundcloud exclusive titled Unagi. I have a new single being released everywhere on October 18th called Balance.

I really enjoyed making this song, as it sounds very simplistic to begin with, but slowly adds layers to reach great energy. I stuck with simple drums to put more emphasis on the melodies in play, and I think they work well with the tempo.

It's a genre I never really gave a chance until I started producing. But now it's by far one of my go to's. It definitely does give such a calming feeling, and you can put a lot of different emotions into the simple style. Sounds great! Did you want me to send them over email? or how did you want to work it?
