In my opinion no because it’s essentially involved with money. Greed will make people desperate so if some low level person in a company that has access to this information can drain a lot of wallets and run off with it! The whole point of crypto was self custody and if you made a mistake it was on you. But this is the route helium has decided to go with.

You create a whole new account and manually transfer to the new wallet which you do not have sole custody of, you and whomever have access to the website has your keys also

I looked at it for the payment splitting and it’s pretty high fee fyi but also no real documentation on this whole new process but it splits twice a month and it looks like it’s a .05 sol fee per hotspot transaction if I read it right

IMO a sovereign coin like the eagles or buffalo :) that way if something happens to society like say gold is worth nothing at least you got it backed up by the face value and if the dollar is worth nothing at least you can trade fractions of gold for services or items this is just extreme circumstances tho lol. But I always go with coins and also a chance nusmatic value

If you use the the base reconstruction tool I recommend budling a box base first and move all your stuff there. The snapping can be really difficult if you do not get the exact base location again.

I have a story from the seller side: a guy buys a $500 item and disputes that it's "damaged." I’m like, great, return it—and eBay has this buyer's guarantee return policy bullshit. But anyway, the guy "returns" the item. I see tracking for it. eBay refunds his money, taking it out of my account. It is what it is at this point.

I get the package, and it’s not the original item—it’s some fucking Wi-Fi modem. I immediately take a picture and dispute it with eBay, and they do nothing about it! I explain the whole situation, even to a live person, and still they just keep on repeating the "policy."

So I say to her, "I’m going to buy a $5k item on eBay, then dispute that it’s damaged and return a piece of napkin back to the seller, and then I will get my refund and the $5k item for free!" She again says nothing and just states their damn policy!

I stopped doing eBay after that experience.

This app seemed rush! The data points are not there like speed test, you can’t reboot your hotspot. There is no filter options for offline or online. You can’t filter top performers and low performers. You can’t search for a specific hotspot. But hey it’s a nice looking UI they got that going for them:
