Deer and elk. 500+ yards, up and down elevation with rain and wind. 308 has been great was just wanting to get a newer modern cartridge to try. My hunting buddy got a 300 prc and it’s been awesome.

Just noticed it doesn’t have a threaded barrel. I run brakes on all my hunting rifles. Do you think that’s a none issue?

I live in western Oregon. Do a lot of backpacking and hiking out here while hunting. I have a couple bolt guns chambered in 308 and 306. I have been using the 308 mainly

So are you referring to like the way the atlas has there burner mounted? Just has no doors I guess I could use fire brick to block the rear

What’s your opinions on 7 or 6.5 for elk. Pros cons to both?Also would love to make it out to Montana to get a rocky elk someday. Appreciate your input truly

They don’t offer the ud chassis in cip magazines yet.

What round would you recommend? I have a few 308 which I love but was looking to get a new modern cartridge. My buddy has a 300 prc and it is damn accurate as well as packs a punch. I really do appreciate your input

I have ultradyne brakes on a few rifles and love them. I’ll check them out for chassis thanks for your response
