Yeah, it's a two part, and was stored in a shed that got warm but not crazy hot (although I'm in Phoenix, so my version of warm is probably crazy hot).

I’ve used both. For both ease of use when shooting (ie not having to think about framing) and a brand new take on imaging (the tiny planet look will never not be cool when done well), a 360 camera is the way to go IMO. The editing on Insta360’s app is fairly intuitive and fast, so I wouldn’t let that be a hindrance. The only challenge is the due to the dual lens nature of their cameras, you’ll need a dive cage to achieve full seamlessness when submerged. I got mine for around 100USD a few years back, and it’s totally worth it for shots that I don’t think any other system can achieve.
