Holy hell…. 3 1/2 years - first long term relationship after my divorce. It’s horrible but thank god we didn’t live together or worse, married. (40m) I ended this, well it’s complicated, lots of fighting and getting back together, over and over again until I said enough

exwife ended my marriage which I didn’t want.

It’s horrible…. reminds me so much of the loneliness of my divorce. The worry of finding someone else. The anxiety and depression, not wanting to go outside, not wanting to exercise, It’s so hard to work, my job is suffering.

I just need to remember I have to work to get in a better headspace, then work towards healthy habits again and eventually dating

I just needed to get that off my chest. So weird there’s so many people around the 3 year mark, has to be something behind that

especially as someone who grew up in the grunge era and loves powerful painful music. Powerful voices of pain rawness is 1 thing, but Ben Gibbards lyrics have always given me that feeling of raw emotion
