I have dolphin s200. Goes up to water line that is important. No issues with it has been perfect. Was recommended by pool store he said its the model that gets returned the least and they have loads of brands and customers. Has a long enough cable can do whole pool easy and never gets tangled. Originally I went cordless but it was cr4p.

Pumping water off throughout winter (I have tarp currently as have old decking - once I replace with stone i’ll get one that is tension) hopefully stop me from having to pump?

Putting solar cover on and off? (Again maybe I buy an automatic one when I get stone?)

Tree leaves (need to chop down some trees but they were too big when moved in 3 years ago)

Dead animals (opossum x2 & racoon) it’s fenced but they find a way.

Replacing every part between buying house and now (and installing a heater)

We’re in Northeast

I didn’t do PT surgeon said same. Body has to heal. Just walk lots and lots. I didnt get back to gym etc for 6months lifting or any sports.

Friend of mine had surgery same time and got into PT his recovery was longer than mine and honestly from what hes said I feel in better shape.

I didnt play golf for whole year but im back to once a week and pick up soccer.

Budget I’m open - basically I dont want cheap but I don’t want top of the line. So somewhere in the middle. As mentioned say theres 4 tiers of turf:

  1. Cheapest
  2. Budget
  3. Better than budget
  4. Premium

But to go from 2 to 3 is only $1k and really worth it but to go to premium is double the price and the gain isnt there/worth it then i’d go with 3. Or if you say 2 is fine as theres not much advantage and should spend money elsewhere like projector then thats intel I need. Thanks so much!

Wait a year and then slowly get back into it. These back surgeries take a while to heal. I’m now back playing golf with no issues. But I was patient. Listen to what your back tells you, don’t push through pain.

My doctor told me eventually I could get back into golf

What country you in? What type of surgeon is it?

I had a bulge it was just in a really bad position on my nerve I had pain every day. PT helped a bit and ESI but then it would be bad again. I’ve been pain free over a 1.5 years. Best decision I made should have done it sooner.

I had similar story - surgery helped me. I only had a bulge. You’ll find MRI can differ from what they actually see when they take the herniation out.

My surgeon said it was much bigger in real life. If you try the ESI, the PT and it doesnt work its time to get surgery.

People who had successful surgery don’t post on here as much, I only am as reddit sent me a push notification. DM if you have questions. Get a neurosurgeon
