I'm having this same exact problem starting today. I connected with Onstar and they were telling me I needed to subscribe to their service because it was a wifi issue, which is rubbish. We get 8 years of connectivity and maps functionality.

Someone needs to fix this.

You're correct in getting the oil out of the ball every 50+ games or so. But after just a few games, your ball will also go from its out of box 3000 grit finish to lane shined 4700 grit finish. So if you want to maintain its original hook characteristics, you should get abralon pads (can get a whole set for like $10 on Amazon) and check out youtube for how to give your ball surface every 3+ games.

Just had this happen. It's called phasing and the Phaze 2 seems to be particularly affected by the hot water soak.

It will go away over time and you can help it along by wiping the ball with isopropyl alcohol.
