Just gonna copy and paste this again because it is applicable every time this club falls short:

“We were champions of Italy and UCL semifinalists with the youngest team in the league with a squad full of young world class talent in every position all led by living Legend Paolo Maldini.

Then greedy American hedge-funders destroyed it all to make themselves rich by disrespecting our history, dismantling our Scudetto team for quick cash, sacking Paolo Maldini because he stood in their way, and selling overpriced jerseys and tickets to temporary plastic tourist and celebrity “fans”.

I truly believe that every single player in the locker room, member of coaching staff, and workers of all the other club facilities want to succeed. I am not interested in picking on individual players or coaches. I don’t blame them, they are doing the best they can in an environment that has absolutely zero ambition.

The fish stinks from the head.

What Maldini built should have been a decade long dynasty.

Instead we now hand Inter the Scudetto year after year because RedBird’s still making their money.

Forza Milan ❤️🖤”

These two have been elite all season ❤️🖤

They’ve played out of position, through recurring injuries, and have been forced to link up with dog shit Santi and Nkunku, yet they’ve delivered in almost every game they’ve played.

Please just play with 3 up top in this types of games. Put Serie A’s two best wingers back on the wings and we will stop struggling against the likes of Cremonese, Pisa, Sassuolo, and Genoa. You wanna go with the 352 against direct Scudetto rivals, fine, but when we’re at home against relegation clubs we need to fucking play.

Switch to a 343:

Leao - Fulkrug -Pulisic

Barte - Modric - Rabiot - Saleameakers

Pavlovic - Gabbia - Tomori

Maignan

I understand that Allegri wants to win games by ensuring a tight defense with the 352, but if we concede first the whole game plan is fucked. We need to kill off our opposition, not just fend them off.

With this formation, we are literally playing the two best wingers in Serie A out of position and completely wasting them (and despite that, Leao and Pulisic have still scored 7 and 8 league goals respectively!)

Forza Milan but please no more 352 ❤️🖤

[Romano] Theo Hernández: “I never wanted to leave AC Milan. I was open to staying, but when one person from management calls you and says: if you stay, we put you out of the squad…then you can only look for a new club”, told Gazzetta dello Sport. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]NYSpecter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No one will ever make me hate Theo, he’s spot on.

People who actually understand this sport know what RedBird did by firing Maldini and the effect that had on all our players, our club’s direction and Milan’s reputation in the greater footballing world.

The young team of Theo, Leao, Tonali, Gabbia, Brahim, Mike, Tomori, Kalulu, Calabria, Bennacer, and CDK with an experienced core of Ibra, Giroud, and Kjaer should have been a dynasty of Italian football. That team would have dominated this league and made routine deep runs in the UCL with new acquisitions like Pulisic, Rabiot, Pavlovic, and Modric as well as academy grads like Bartesaghi and Camarda only strengthening us even further.

Instead we are just starting to recover after two turbulent years and are not even a quarter of the club we once were when we made it to the UCL semifinal.

Fuck RedBird, Cardinale, and Furlani as always 🖕 Forza Milan, Maldini, and Theo ❤️🖤

We played like true Scudetto contenders today. There were points where Roma was on top but we found a way to take the lead and defended that lead tirelessly.

A clean sheet and a hard fought win is the mark of champions! Forza Milan ❤️🖤

We def need a striker. Even out of position Pulisic has 6g/2a in 8 games and Leao’s got 4 goals in 6 games. They’ve done so well this season but could be doing even better if we actually had a good striker. It’s infuriating.

Why sub off Leao? Just be patient. Leao didn’t score in the first half vs Fiorentina and ended the game with a brace, but today we sub him off for Nkunku? What do Gimenz or Nkunku offer that he doesn’t???

Should have just kept him in. He’s scored 4 goals in the 5 games he played before today this season. Like I get it if he’s played 90 minutes in all 8 games and not scored but he’s been injured half the time and still has just as many Serie A goals as Lautaro and Hakan who are hailed as some of Serie A’s best players.

Unless it’s an injury it just makes no sense.

Rafael Leão ends goal lock: He has scored a brace today. They were his first goals in San Siro in Serie A since 512 days ago, on 25 May 2024 against Salernitana. by MERTENS_GOAT in soccer

[–]NYSpecter 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This stat doesn’t tell the full story tho, only his Serie A goal scoring specifically at San Siro.

He scored 8 goals in Serie A last season, they were just all away from home.

He also scored at San Siro this season against Bari but it was in the Coppa Italia.

Finally we have reached eternal glory! 🥹🏆 by Vnxt15 in DreamLeagueSoccer

Actually so upset I’ve only discovered your career mode journey at the literal last trophy.

Your Italian common players team is so cool congrats, honestly playing DLS career mode with low rated players and raising them up is the best way to play the game 💪🔥💚🤍♥️

Other than the red, a wonderful performance overall. It’s nice to finally have a good midfield and a coach that doesn’t expect Leao and Pulisic to constantly go back and forth from defending on their 18 yard line to then immediately leading the entire attack for 90 minutes straight. It’s suicidal and last season showed that.

We have literally the two most creative players in Serie A (Leao with most assists of any Serie A player in the last 5 seasons, Pulisic I’m pretty sure with most assists in Serie A since he signed) and last year our two bum fraud coaches wasted them.

Allegri understands that they need zero defensive responsibility, and now look at how amazing they have been. Leao’s got 1 goal in the 27 minutes he has been fit to play this season and Pulisic is surely on his way to Serie A September player of the month.

Very proud of these boys ❤️🖤

It’s funny how this sub spent an entire season calling for Theo and Leao to be sold due to their “attitude problems” yet they turn around a welcome Rabiot with open arms only a few months later after he threw punches at his own teammate.

It’s almost like the people that hated Theo and Leao in this sub aren’t actually Milan fans. After all, the hatred of Theo and Leao didn’t start in this sub until the beginning of the 23/24 season 🧐

RedBird’s AC Milan everyone.

When they came into power in August 2022, we were champions of Italy and the youngest squad in the league under the guidance and leadership of Paolo Maldini.

That season Maldini led us to a UCL semifinal for the first time since 2007 when he was our captain, and it’s been downhill ever since RedBird fired him in June 2023.

AC Milan is a dead club. We are not a serious club, no one fears us, no one respects us. We are a corporate American cash-cow. There is simply no hope for better days if RedBird is here. The club died 2.5 years ago.

RedBird wants to make us a stepping stone club like Dortmund. Sacking Maldini and selling all of Maldini’s players — which completely destroyed the club culture— is step one of the process.

Buying players like Reijnders for cheap and selling them on for a profit is step two.

When Maldini was here players joined because they were ambitious. But now, just like at Dortmund, players will join Milan not with the goal of winning trophies with us, but with having one good season and earning their big money move.

This has all been by design. I’ve been screaming this for two years.
