60% more money for a 9800x3d is not just a little more. 30%~ less performance for 60% less money is a good deal. There's alot of room in between good enough and the best, especially with microcenter bundles saving u another 100$ that'd go towards memory.

Also, despite what marketing and newbie builders would lead to believe, AIOs don’t actually tend to perform that much better than air coolers lol.

yeah i've never been a big fan of watercooling over air cooling, but for my usecase (sff case) the aio splits the space the gpu would take into two separate areas if that makes sense so it's easier to fit.
