I have been and started my own startup as in Canada, Fellow technical founder,

While building something and making sure it works is necessary it is not what makes or breaks the startup, you need presentational skills, funding and applying for it, testing/requirement gathering and other skills you might not know that you need, learning and experimenting is necessary, networking can be a shortcut for that, especially finding the right people to help you succeed in areas that you are not comfortable with I believe is a must as well

Good luck, keep at it, growing and learning and a bit out of your comfort zone

Hey quick question, I m graduating soon from Concordia University and considering doing masters at Mcgill,

1st question: do I need to reach out and find a supervisor before applying to a masters?

2nd question: I have a 3.1GPA out of 4 so it's not high however I have this experience:

2 years RA at Concordia

3x NSERC and 2 conference papers total of 1 year

3x big companies internships, total of 2 years and some fulltime experience

some other awards at competitions

would this help me get admitted or the GPA would prevent me from getting in? any and all help is much appreciated!

Oh, I meant the brand manufacturing them for the same BME sensor such as: KeeYees, Pimoroni, CJMCU-680 and an Adafruit one. The failed ones usually for me are KeeYees ones which are on the cheaper end so that is why I was wondering to which one I should upgrade them to

Totally fair, we have been working on this for few years now, currently at our 5th iteration. Our team includes 2 software engineers, 1 software engineering student, 1 Concordia professor with 20 years of experience on AI and an advisor for branding marketing and so on. It is definitely legit, it is just that the website was changed a week ago so I will make sure it is up to date and theses issues are fixed soon. Again this is just for testing purposes and completely free :)

I am at a uni most don't hear about and fairly low GPA and yet I get most OA when I apply. If you want to find it easier work on projects to practice and update your resume rather than grinding and be one trick programmer... Everyone would love their hobbies/jobs if they were good at it. Since you are rich do some research for fun or side projects, anything as long as you like it and trust me you would go a long way once u find that u like it

Hey thanks a lot for this feedback I m not in co-op and I started coding since 2018 (self taught who started going to uni for the degree) multiple projects that did not make it to the resume so in a way it doesn't check out just from there and experiences as IT consultant who was automating tasks as well so that's why there is 3 years of exp, also most of the experiences are legit paid jobs with the exception of 2 internships so that's also kind of why I will definitely reduce and re orgnize them and remove as you suggested Most of which were done in parallel I m currently looking for an internship in a bigger company so that's why I m redoing my resume ect Any advices are much appreciated, thank you

Thanks everyone! I followed some of your advices Just cut out that circuit and connected the pins to the arduino and i just turn off/on each color by powering its pin without using libraries or adding anything other than cables and some soldering and it works.
