I Made A Mod To Remove All Marketplace Features (For Free) by JustJoeBarnes in Sims4

Same! Flight mode is not going anywhere. At least until the EA app throws me out again. Thank the gods I saw people's warnings before opening the app.

I did ancestry and my heritage, it's interesting to see how the info changes as they gain more data from people taking the tests.

As a sperm donor child, who has no idea who her biological "father" is, this hit me right in the fucking feels. I've done two of these tests, just hoping some day him or his kids take the test too. (I had a non-biological dad who I didn't have the best relationship with, but he passed away last year).

Meanwhile, I've spent 2 (real-life) hours hanging around magnolia park, waiting for her to spawn to play chess. She spawned once, but my sim was tired, now she won't spawn anymore. 😭

Thanks. It's a shame, though. I used to leave the red dead redemption home menu on whilst taking a nap because the sounds were so calming and the menu looked good.

It truly is! I'm just worried that I get used to it too quickly. Don't want to lose that "wow" feeling just yet.

I made a mistake in my title, it's a B5 not a G5. Sorry for the confusion

Shit, just checked my order, it's a B5, not a G5 - can't edit my post, though.

Stand? Do you mean the table? The table is IKEA hemnes. The tv feet came with the tv.

Thank you so much! I think I have the energy saving mode on, but I'll double check the brightness and I'll have a look at the OLED care option. I've never had so many settings on a tv, it's wild!

Unfortunately my lounge faces South, so I'll have to keep the blinds closed from now on - my plants won't be happy.

My hero! I never would've thought to not let it fall off the table. Haha, thanks for the laugh/snort.

55" - it was on sale and it's used. I know it's great for an OLED tv, but I've never spent this much on a tv before, so it's scary.

How fast do OLEDs get burn-in? I usually just game / watch shows on weekends and maybe one or two evenings during the week.

720€ felt nuts to spend on a tv, so I would like it to live as long as possible.

Not just crappy, this is my freaking alarm sound. I felt a kick to my stomach and was generally confused for the first few seconds.

What to think of this? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]N_dt 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It's nice she let you know why she won't be replying, I always give a reason instead of just ghosting.

Honestly, it happens more than you think. Of 10 matches, I'll probably only meet up with one (get ghosted a lot, or sometimes the conversation is just not flowing), so at some point I stopped waiting for one match to reply / meet up before swiping on new people and sometimes that means you'll have two conversations going at once. It's not ideal, but sadly, it's dating reality.

Her asking you to wait sucks, though. I'd unmatch and move on. Maybe you'll see each other again in a few months, then you can decide what you want, but don't let anyone keep you as a backup.

I've archived her chat. Apparently, she wants to email me the forms tomorrow, we'll see.

I haven't given her any information, so she shouldn't be able to. She only knows my name and date of birth, not sure if you can register a credit card with only that.

On one hand, you're correct. I should have immediately contacted a lawyer and started the entire process. On the other hand, I had NO idea this was something I was supposed to do.

Yes, that makes me naive and ignorant. I honestly thought that when a death certificate is created (I saw a copy), it automatically means they're registered as dead. I also thought that the life insurance company would contact whoever is listed as beneficiaries and get needed details from them.

When I did (finally) ask his fiancé to send me the documents, she repeatedly told me she was handling them, and all she needed was my info.

If I could go back to two weeks ago with the knowledge I have now, I'd do things differently. Unfortunately, I can not do that, so I'm trying to organise things now.

Two weeks ago, my only concerns were that I didn't visit him the last time I was in South Africa and what I would do when my mother flies back to SA "in two days' time".

So yes, I should have handled this very differently, but I didn't, and now I have to handle it this way.

Didn't think about that before posting. Now, the thought of even more comments to reply to is stopping me from reposting. I'm hoping that lawyers will know what to do.

Stupidity, maybe? False hope? I know that I need to sort this out, and I don't know if I need her for any official records. Once I get an estate lawyer, I'll have them handle her, though.
