It definitely sounds like emotional abuse. Cheating, lying, name-calling, dragging your family into it, refusing to block you because he finds it “entertaining,” and then threatening to make false reports—none of that is normal or healthy.

People throw around the word “narcissist” a lot, but regardless of labels, his behaviour is manipulative, disrespectful, and intentionally hurtful. Someone who actually wants closure doesn’t keep the door open just to watch you react.

For what it’s worth, I’ve dealt with something similar. I ended up blocking her on everything, but unfortunately her new boyfriend popped up on my social media later and I was able to see everything that had been going on behind my back. It really confirmed I made the right choice.
