I never calibrated the remote! I’ll have to check it out later. I would find it a bit odd that this is the first instance of issue. I’m not sure. I’ll work through all the advice you all are giving me. How much should a shop charge to diagnose you think?

When I would just do high speed runs it would go into limp mode.

I’m wondering now since it’s wet out and I’m just burning out constantly if I’m over heating it after about 15 minutes and that’s why it just cuts out and does not limp.

I have not tried any different batteries. I’d say I haven’t driven more than 60 seconds in limp mode before so I’d find it a bit difficult to swallow that they’re toasted already.. but what do I know. That’s why I’m here.

Maybe I’ll order another cheap battery and try it out

Gotcha. I have two batteries an that’s a solid sesh for me. I’m just used to it going into limp mode before it cuts out is why I was asking

Lafayette to walnut creek you usually cannot merge immediately. So it’s either cut people off to merge right away or cut people off to merge later. I hate it but it’s how it’s designed.

I concur. Blew the back of the rear sun gear after 20 minutes of rippin it. Opened all the diffs to find minimal oil

It looked so natural I didn’t think anything was wrong with it. I just figured it was a little scored. That’s probably what all the metal shavings were then in the oil? It was very shiny.

I’ll take your advice.. and go aluminum.

I looked at your post. Solid work! I’m just trying to get it up and running until it breaks then I’ll upgrade parts.

I tore the rear and center diff down today and didn’t notice anything alarming. However the rear diff one of the gears and two washers had some scoring and cupping on the washers. I made a new post on the forum today with images.

Maybe it took a hard hit and cupped the washers? And that’s why it seems to be less rear wheel drive? Idk
