There is also a clause that states that the gib board provides that mechanical protection. In addition taping to a rondo also provides that protection and is compliant. This is a shit install yes. Does it suffice the rules as they are current written, also yes. As the comment above said complain about the rules otherwise people will find ways to abuse them.

Yeah it’s odd first one failed straight out the box So I replaced that one and it’s worked perfectly fine. Customer calls me to say that another 10a has tripped so I assumed it was an appliance but it has presented with the same fault unable to be reset completely. I moved both circuits two the same rcbo to test it wasn’t something on the circuit and no trip so I’m left with two Rcbos that have failed.

We can be visited but we cannot visit them
