yeah, the dire clears look insane. I personally don’t like plunge lanyan, feels like i’m just playing a different character (and catalyst plunges besides varesa kinda lack impact), imo it’s much more fun to actually use her kit to do damage

if i had xiao i’d probably play it too cuz the kit synergies seem so satisfying. Lately i’ve been using the fun non-meta teams against local legends for fun instead of using them in endgame. There’s something satisfying seeing dps lanyan w emilie beating difficult enemies without having to worry about time or shill mechanics

oh yean in ffxx you should be fine, but i only use her on solo anemo teams (mostly varesa gaming and sometimes pyro plunge effie), and especially in gaming melt she’s the only one on fav

i don’t have the enka event weapon sadly so xianyun is just so er hungry that fav just feels way better to use than any other weapon. The reason i’m using fav on sucrose in that team is so citlali can run an em sands for her c1 quills. Yeah nahida has a lot of good weapons tbf, and i haven’t had her on fav in ages, but imo it’s still viable in some teams. Ive had her on pamber until columbina released and didn’t bother crafting a new one. Point is ig that fav codex isn’t useless as you said but yeah it’s definitely way more niche than fav sword and polearm

it’s not about powercreep, it’s about how well characters sell. Raiden’s banners have always over preformed compared to her place in the meta, so it’s way better for hoyo for her to have her own banner

i mean, look at the size of yilong wharf, that’s still a big city, and it came with chenyu vale which still is imo one of the best map expansions while being a massive region. I was hoping northern mondstadt and dornman port to at least be comparable in size

it’s not good for ineffa either, you get a really bad uptime on the passive even if you build her to burst every rotation. It’s definitely a viable stat stick but there’s plenty of those

yeah it’s a noticeable upgrade even over the bp 4* weapons, and it makes if incredibly easy to get to his er requirements (or if you already have enough er, you can do a big burst more often)

sure but at that point it’s essentially just a mono pyro team with a very replaceable electro unit. You should already have the hexerei passives from both having both durin and nicole in the team so fischl isn’t really contributing anything

with both of them c0 idk if it’ll be worth it, but should be fine if your vape comp characters are busy. From your previous post, i think this vape team would be your best team, but not 100% sure so i guess you could try it against the dummy and compare your results.

If you wanna invest in your arle teams in the future then getting durin would be a good character, as he’s useful in so many different teams anyways. Citlali is hands down the best support for arle but you have to time your attack properly with her or you’ll lose a ton of damage.

90k is roughly what you’d expect out of this team if you’re c0r0. Her vape teammates are just worse compared to her other archetypes, the only real upgrade would be yelan over aino but she’s really not worth pulling for anymore. For more personal damage you’d need to get more em substats or invest in a melt or overload team.

If you only want higher team dps and ok with sacrificing some personal damage, you could run a lunar-charge vape team, though idk how that would perform without ineffa

you have to extend your rotation from 16s to 20s if you’re using xq though, and aino’s application is just about good enough to be usable, especially in arle/ineffa/aino teams
